Living room of "Evesham," Baltimore, Maryland. Home of Mr. & Mrs. A.D. Clemens Jr. Photo 1957. Portrait over table is of Elizabeth Read Goodman Bryden wife of Capt. Wm Bryden, Baltimore clipper chip captain who m. her in London in 1801 & then settled here. She is the great great grandmother of Mrs. Norman Dix of Westhampton Beach, L.I., N.Y. Mrs. G. Ray Hyde, Mrs Dix’s aunt, is seen on the conservatory porch.
