John Dix was born May 18, 1702, died June 11, 1787.
John was Selectman of Waltham, Mass 1749-59.
His first wife, Mary Cook, was born in Watertown Jan. 8, 1706 or 1707.
They married Sept. 28, 1726.
His second wife was Rebecca Wellington of Lexington, who he married May 9, 1752 [or possibly Feb. 14, 1745; records are conflicting].
