Charity was the daughter of Isaac (1708-1xxx) and Elizabeth (Todd) Dayton, their 11th child. Charity's father Isaac Dayton was the grandson of William Tuttle's (1609-1673) 4th son Jonathan, through his daughter Rebecca Tuttle Dayton (Mrs. Isaac Dayton) (1664-1xxx).
