Cotter Sullivan - Born December 24, 1875, at Indianola, Texas. Married
Florence Fletcher, April 21, 1909. No issue. Both living in San Antonio,
Texas. He attended school at St. Mary's College, San Antonio, Texas, and
Rock Hill College, Ellicott City, Maryland, graduating with A.B. degree;
then attended Harvard Law School, Class of 1899. 6. Mary
Elizabeth Sullivan - Born November 22, 1878, at Indianola, Texas.
Married Colonel John Lincoln Clem in 1903. Had one child, Anne Elizabeth
Clem, born June 24, 1906, at San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. Clem attended school
in San Antonio, Texas, then entered Notre Dame College, Baltimore, Maryland.
After graduation she spent a year in Paris, France, at the Sacred Heart
Convent. Anne Elizabeth
Clem - Born June 24, 1906, at San Antonio, Texas, and was baptized
in July, 1906, at St. Mary's Church, San Antonio. Anne Elizabeth
graduated from Holton Arms School, Washington, D.C., and attended Rosemont
College and The Sacre Coeur in Paris. She made her debut in Washington
in 1926. In 1929 she entered the Order of the Discalced Carmelites and now lives at the Carmelite Monastery, Indianapolis, Indiana. Major General John Lincoln Clem - Died May 13, 1937, and was buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D.C. Mrs. Clem lives in San Antonio, Texas. 7. Walter Sullivan - Born October 15, 1881, at Indianola, Texas. Lost at sea July 12, 1905, from a Pacific liner between San Francisco and Honolulu while enroute to Manila, Philippine Islands, to visit Mrs. John Lincoln Clem. He died unmarried and without issue. He attended school at St. Mary's College, San Antonio, Texas, then was for a year at Harvard and then entered Yale University, graduating with Class of 1903. [ Proceed to Part II: Letters ]
