Old Letters Letter
of Aug. 29, 1858 from Mary Sullivan (wife of Wm. Cotter) to her brother
Daniel Sullivan at Indianola, Texas. Dear Brother: It would be my wish and the wish of all my family that you would come home as Ann died. Dear Brother you promised you would come home and bring Anny with you as we suspect it was Ann Sullivan died but we are not sure. The inhabitants of America are not long lived people. I hope Dear Brother you wont forget to mention in your next letter will yourself and Ann come home? Or will I ever see ye again? There could be no greater gift bestowed on myself & family than to see once more. Brothers
& Sisters, Father, Mother and Uncle unite in giving you all our Blessings
far away. Mary Sullivan [ next ]
