 Madison Brown Bordley (1873-1937)

Eldest child of Dr. James Bordley (1846-1904) and Ella Fassitt Brown, his wife, the dau. of Madison Brown & Eleanora Fassitt Pratt, his wife. Educated at Centreville Academy; Lehigh Univ.; Trinity College, Hartford, Conn. (B.A.); University of Md. Law School (L.L.B 1895). Practiced law, Centreville, Md; Asst. Editor of Centreville Record; Supervisor of Assessments, Queen Anne’s County; Director and V.P. of Centreville Nat’l. Bank; for many years a Vestryman, St. Pauls Parish and active community affairs. He married, 1912, Helen Elizabeth Brown, of James & Maria Sands Page Brown. Buried in family plot of Chesterfield Cem., Centreville.
