 Robert Austin Joseph Bordley (1918- )

Born in N.Y.C., son of Austin J. Bordley & Viola Magruder of Lyttleton (all of Balto), his wife. Attended Shady Side Academy, Pittsburgh; Upper Canada College, Toronto; Grad. Gilman, Balto. 1936 (Ice Hockey, Baseball, Football teams; cup for best athlete), and Princeton 1940 (Ice Hockey & Lacrosse teams) Married Martha Ann Robinson of New Orleans, 1946 (A.B. Univ of Wash. ’43). Enlisted 1942, O.T.C. 2nd Lt. Spent 2-1/2 yrs E.T.O. in WWII in AUS. Transp. Corps., Discharged as Major.
